[BREAKING] Massive security breach in Parliament of India on 2001 Parliament Attack anniversary

NEW DELHI: In a massive security breach in the Parliament of India today two unidentified men jumped into the Lok Sabha and unleashed an attack with smoke sticks.

Delhi Police also detained 2 unidentified persons, allegedly 'protestors', wielding 'coloured smoke' tools in front of Transport Bhawan close to the Parliament building.

Congress MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla, who caught hold of the two men who jumped down the visitors' gallery into the House, reportedly said to news agency ANI speaking about the incident, "...He had something in his hand which was emitting yellow-coloured smoke. I snatched it away and continued throwing it outside...This is a major security breach..."

While this is prima facie in line with Khalistani separatist leader 'Sikhs for Justice' Khalistani separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun's threat wherein he had said in a video release that he ‘will shake the very foundations of the Parliament', further investigations are pending on the matter.

The Delhi Police and vigilance departments were put on high alert after the separatist leader said he would attack the Indian Parliament on or before December 13.

December 13 marks the 22nd year of attack on the Indian Parliament by terrorists in 2001.

Allegedly, the 'Visitor's Pass' of the intruder was issued in the name of one 'Sagar Sharma' through Mysuru BJP MP Pratap Simha.

Addressing the House on the incident Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has said, "A thorough investigation of the incident that took place during zero hour, is being done. Essential instructions have also been given to Delhi Police. In the primary investigation, it has been found that it was just a smoke and there is no need to worry about the smoke..."
