Legendary Professor RC Srivastava Passes Away At The Age Of 79

Author of ‘The Principles of Law of Contract’, Professor Ramesh Chandra Srivastava passed away on November 10, 2018, at the age of 79 at Metro Hospital situated in Noida. He was suffering from blood cancer since past two years.

Prof. R.C. Srivastava, MA, LL.M was a retired professor of law of Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur having taught students for more than 30 years. He held a Master's degree in Law and was an authority on Mercantile Law. Prof. R.C. Srivastava had also taught over thousands of students at the esteemed coaching institute ‘Rahuls IAS’ for several years before being detected with blood cancer in the year 2016. He was known for his relentless and unabated dedication and undying passion towards teaching.

While suffering from blood cancer, he wrote a book on contract law titled ‘The Principles of Law of Contract’ which got published on September 30, 2018.

His last rites were performed on November 12, 2018, at 11 am at Lodhi Crematorium, Delhi.

May the soul of the departed rest in peace.
