Inauguration Ceremony DHCBA Football Tournament Futsal Kiren Rijiju

The Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) Football Tournament “FUTSAL 2022” kicked off with great enthusiasm and fervour. 

The inauguration ceremony was held at the South Delhi School Ground, under the able-aegis of DHCBA Vice-President Shri Jatan Singh, who organized and imbued the event with versatility and sapience. 

The Hon’ble Union Minister of Law & 

was the Chief Guest while the Hon’ble Acting Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Shri Vipin Sanghi was the Guest of Honour.

Special invitees of the event were Adv. Rohan Jaitley, President, Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) and Actor Suniel Shetty

DHCBA President Shri Mohit Mathur gave the opening speech by welcoming all the guests and instilling enthusiasm among the participants.

The tournament, will be held over a period of 3 weekends in April 2022, commencing from April 08, 2022.

Union Law Minister Shri Rijiju lauded DHCBA for its active initiation in promoting sports in legal field. While speaking at the inauguration ceremony, he said “PARAMPARA RAHI HAI, PAR KHEL SANSKRITI NAHI BAN PAAYA”. He acknowledged and appreciated the hard work put in by the Judges and the Members of the Bar for their relentless endeavors and dedication.

Court Complex’s should have proper sports facilities. Fit India Movement should be promoted”, stated Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju.

The first match was between teams - Justice League v. R.M. FC, whereby the Team Justice League won by 2-0.
